Know Your Candidates is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you. By using our website, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect: When you complete the ‘Contact Us’ form, we collect the information that you provide to us, that is:

• your name

• your email address

• the nature of your enquiry and

• any other information you choose to provide.  

 

If you complete only the Election Survey we do collect demographic data so that candidates can understand which groups are interested in which issues, but no personally identifiable data is obtained by us.   Note – as no contact data is collected via the Election Survey responses we also cannot respond to any queries for Know Your Candidates included in the survey responses.  If you have a query or feedback for Know Your Candidates, please send it to us via a Contact Us form.

How we use your information from the Contact Us form: as requested by you, we may use your information to provide you with any information you have asked for, to communicate with you, to improve our website, and for other purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Disclosure of your information: This website is produced using Wix, and the information from your ‘Contact Us’ form may be stored on Wix’s database on behalf of Know Your Candidates in line with their ‘User of Users’ privacy policy, which may be accessed here. 

 

Know Your Candidates does not otherwise disclose your information to third-party service providers.

Security: Know Your Candidates uses the security provided by WIX to protect any information you provide from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
